Ooh, I hope I didn’t complain too much in my journal on day 15, will have to see shortly!
Day 15 and we are still really at the beginning. We are breaking down old habits still and going for the new ones. How are you finding it?
Right, let’s see what I had to say:
“First day of a three day break. I managed to get up and ready ok, not sure if I woke Angela and H. Left the wrong trainers out and started to look for the right ones, but started to make too much noise, so left it.”
“Nice run – I decided to run instead of the daily activation.”
As I was away for the weekend, I was having to adapt the plan to fit the circumstances. So rather than my usual routine, which I call the 20-20-20-20 method (totally stolen from Robin Sharma’s 20-20-20 method), I did a run instead of my morning exercises. At this stage of the plan my 20-20-20-20 routine was: when the alarm goes off, get up and dressed, drink water, bathroom = 20 minutes. Daily Activation Session (DAS), 2 minutes warm up, followed by 3x 6 45 seconds on, 15 seconds off, of a variety of exercises, planks, push-ups, pull-ups etc. = 20 minutes. 20 minutes of journaling and meditation. Final 20 minutes of learning; reading a book, listening to a book or podcast, anything to educate myself.
Even though we were away, I found a way to keep myself on the exercise track.
I think I will use kale instead of cavolo nero, never seen cavolo nero, but it looks very similar to kale, although I believe it is also called black cabbage!
