“If something is important enough, even if the odds are stacked against you, you should still do it.” – Elon Musk
Love him or loath him, he sometimes come out with some good stuff and I believe he is right here. If you believe in something and it is important to you, do it.
So, day 17, I said it a couple of days ago, but this is still the start, easy to give up at this stage. Remind yourself of your WHY – if it helps, post your why.
A peak at some of my thoughts on day 17:
“I said yes to something – I said yes to kayaking – and really enjoyed it”.
I often tend to over think things and not do them. When Angela suggested we get the kayak out of the car and mess about for ½ an hour, my first instinct was to say no, the hassle of getting it out, blowing it up and then having to dry it off and put it away, just seemed too much. So glad we did though, it will hopefully be a memory my daughter will live with forever – kayaking on the Norfolk broads with her dad. I think it is important we are always making memories, accumulate them, not things.
Today’s lunch or post workout snack does not take quite as long as yesterday’s suggestion
