Day 27


Looks like things were getting better for me:


“Definitely feel better once I have exercised……. Slept quite well, dropped off to sleep really quickly, then woke up and it took a little while to get back to sleep but not too long”.


I also attended a webinar on 5 Principles of Nutrition by Jon Burgess – the headlines were:


1. Hydration

a. Calculate how much water you need per day: body weight in kg x 0.033 = litres per day + ½ litre per 30 minutes of exercise

2. Quality of food

a. Buy the best quality food you can afford and go for quality over quantity

3. Antioxidants

4. Blood sugar – avoid the sugar roller coaster

5. Gut health

a. Microbiome – an emerging science, but one that is proving to be the more fundamental to our health than previously thought.
