"Pain or regret"

“You can either experience the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The choice is yours.” – Unknown

I’m not totally sold on this quote, I think discipline can actually be enjoyable and give you freedom. If you are disciplined to do the things that need to be done and get them planned, it is often then easier to fit in the spontaneous stuff! I do also get that the majority of ‘successful’ (depending on your individual definition of ‘successful’) people put their success down to doing the things that other people do not want to do, especially when they do not want to do it.

A snippet from my day 16:

“Trying to improvise on the morning routine. Rather than a 20 minute workout – I did 1 hour 45 on the bike…… found a route called Marriotts Way……Nice and flat route, ended up in Norwich”.

The rest of the journaling today was details of the route and planning the day and tomorrow.

This one is for the weekend, it does take a while to prep and cook, certainly not in the 15 minute category!
