“Smart people learn from everything and everyone"

“Smart people learn from everything and everyone, average people from their experiences, stupid people already have all the answers.” – Socrates

This one does make me smile, good old Socrates!

Hello day 13, almost 2 weeks!! How are you getting on, do you need any more support – please let us know.

I could have done with some help and support at this stage, was having a bit of a tough time with planning and keeping everything to myself:

“I am still worried about going away, I will speak to Angela this evening and explain why………I called the hotel and they said I could use a spare room to store the bikes”.

Couple of things I picked out here, one was that this was probably the first time I had talked to my wife about my worries and secondly, that I had taken the first steps and put my plan of taking my bike away with me into action. Later that day I wrote:

“I spoke with Angela about my worries about going away – she totally understood – to my surprise – so I feel much, much better about it now”.

Don’t know about you, but sometimes I can build problems in my head, but when I speak to people or break the issue down and start breaking it up, the problem becomes much easier to handle.

Today is also a special treat, 11 recipes that are packed full of protein
