I guess this is something I touched on yesterday and for me, my Ironman training is something I do everyday that will end up being a massive achievement. Some days it will be rest and these rest days are just as important as the 100 milers on the bike or the running hill repeats – they all add up and the rest days are when the body resets and gets ready to go again.
A small extract from my day 31:
“Slept well last night and felt up for training this morning”.
There was also quite a bit of gratefulness going to Mr Jason Salter, Jason was starting to get involved in the Plan at this stage and it was starting to form properly as it was being worked on a little bit each day.
